Warehouse worker responsibilities include shipping orders, picking, packing, and scanning orders.
The goal is to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
The warehouse employee is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.
Their duties include organizing inventory:
accepting - unboxing - counting - logging.
Organizational skills are very important for this role and maintaining shipping strategy.
Responsibilities -Receive inventory and check for accuracy.
-Prepare and complete orders for shipping.
-Create packing lists and labels using WMS and business software.
-Perform inventory controls and keep inventory accurate.
-Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
-Report any discrepancies.
-Communicate and cooperate with customer service, purchasing and sales team.
-Provide customer service for issues that stem from shipping errors.
-Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
Skills -Proven working experience as a warehouse team member.
-Proficiency in inventory software and general computer proficiency.
-Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
-Good organizational and time management skills.
-Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed -Forklift and pallet jack experience.
Schedule -Monday - Friday -8 hour shift.
