Customer Service

We are on the hunt for a Bi-lingual English / Spanish Customer Service Representative. This role will directly support the customer service team. Provides guidance to customers and general information pertaining to requirements and rates for international exports.
Responsibilities:
??? Receive research and respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently; offer customer alternatives to unresolved problems.
??? Have complete knowledge of company???s services and aspects of department for countries of service.
??? Responsible for making bookings and contacting customers for the rating of bills of lading.
??? Attend to high volume of incoming phone calls and emails.
??? Keep abreast of changes or related issues as they pertain to areas of responsibility always maintaining close communication with customer base.
??? Track shipments in transit or documentation through proper channels, as needed
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
Entry Level
Qualifications:
??? Bi-lingual English / Spanish (read & write)
??? 1 year of experience handling Customer Service, Import or Export Traffic in the Freight Forwarding / ocean transportation industry.
??? Basic Computer skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
??? Ability to work with limited supervision and strong initiative.
??? Ability to think logically and follow procedures and instructions.
??? Ability to prepare a variety of reports.
??? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and fellow employees.
??? The ability to respond to common inquiries relating to the areas of countries of service assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
